Backed by a Master’s Degree in Public Health, a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion, and over a decade of hands-on experience supporting parents, I created Naming Bean to make the journey of preparing for a baby – choosing the perfect name, getting ready for those first months, and finding confidence as new parents—easier, more joyful, and a little less overwhelming.

My experience.

Motherhood.

I became a mom in 2015 with the birth of my son, followed by my daughter in 2018. Like many parents, I quickly learned how big a decision choosing the right name really is – and how many emotions, opinions, and second guesses come along with it! Through my own journey, I also realized how overwhelming preparing for a baby can feel. From hospital bag checklists to postpartum recovery, I found a real passion for helping other parents feel empowered and supported during this special time.

Baby Names & Beyond.

When I was naming my children, I spent countless hours researching name meanings, origins, popularity, and how a name would grow with them into adulthood. It wasn’t always easy, and that’s what sparked the idea for Naming Bean. I wanted a space where parents could find reliable information, fun inspiration, and trustworthy tools – not only for names but also for the bigger journey of pregnancy and new parenthood.

Qualifications.

While there’s no official certification required to become a baby name consultant, I proudly bring a unique blend of professional knowledge, research skills, and real-world parenting experience to Naming Bean. With a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s in Health Promotion, I’m passionate about helping parents make informed, confident decisions — and I believe that begins with one of the very first choices you’ll make for your baby: their name. Through Naming Bean, I combine my formal education with my love of names to guide and inspire you on this special journey.
